Pulse of the Place are a youth  Samba band who put the energy into Samba.

We formed in August 2006 with around 8 drummers and grew to the band we are now of approx 69 drummers aged 7yrs to 21yrs.  We are now the biggest youth samba band in Scotland. The Band is led by 2 young people who, between them, the have around 20 years drumming experience.

shows at Duncan Place Arts and Education Centre (which is also where we rehearse) and other small festivals and community events.

We are now getting together 90 youth drummers for the Leith Festival (12th June 2010)
