As a completely self-funding, non-profit community band, The Nottingham School of Samba has been playing at festivals, carnivals, and local venues as well as many fund raising events, regularly over the past 15 years.Our sound derives from the traditional roots of Afro-Brazilian rhythms, blended with a smattering of reggae, ragga and funk.
We now have a newly formed dance section, which practices Tuesdays 7.30-9.00pm (school term time) and everyone with a smile is welcome to join in our dance fun.
