Beginner to advanced/specialist tuition in rhythms and songs of Candomblé Has studied, performed, taught and recorded all styles, forms and instruments of Brazilian music for over twenty years - individual instruments and ensemble/bloco percussion instrumentation, styles and forms. Has made a detailed study of the music of Candomblé in the city of Salvador, is a Candomblé initiate and has been honoured with the title ‘Ogã Alabê’, meaning a recognized drummer for the Candomblé religion. A son of the Orixa ‘Omolu’. Currently co-teacher and director of Bloco Ilu Axé.
