Jam Samba

Formed several years ago as part of the Estover Percussion Project, the group is open to all with rehearsals on Mondays from 7 at Estover Community College, Miller Way. Colin Seddon, multi-talented original musical director of Inner Sense is currently working with Jam Samba, and they achieved a degree of fame (or infamy) in Dec 95 when one of their members memorably teamed up with another sambista on national TV''s Blind Date.

Estover Percussion Project has launched a host of different community bands, from Weapons of Sound (urban junk) to Real Steel, a steel pan band who took part in the 1995 Notting Hill Carnival.
