Honeydrum

Honeydrum are a musicians collective, practicing and performing Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazillian and African Rhythms, Songs and Dance. Honeydrum perform locally (in and around Leeds) and nationally. Band members range from new beginners to advanced experienced players.

Honeydrum runs weekly classes in African, Brazillian and Cuban Folkloric and Popular music. Our classes cover technique, musicianship and understandind the feel of the grooves and songs. Our goal is to create community through music, to have fun and play hard, honoring the spirit and style of the music. All are welcome.

Our aim now is to create momentum and stability so we can travel and have fun playing abroad in places like Barcelona, Dublin, Amsterdam etc.
