"Happy City",Ireland's longest running school of samba, has been wowing audiences the length and breadth of Ireland for the last fifteen years."Happy City" perform rythms of Brasil,such as sambareggae,sambafunk,batucada, as well as contemporary western beats and celtic fusion.We have shared our explosive beats with people at the Rose of Tralee,Galway arts festival,Feile an Phobal,Lisburn mayor's parade,Ballina festival,Samhain festival in Derry,phoenix festival in Tullamore ,Drogheda samba fest ,Dun laoghaire fest of cultures and the Monto festival,Dublin,to name but A few.We invite you to shake hands with your feet, let the rythm take control and abandon yourself to carnival spirit."Happy City" are available for workshops,performance on street or stage or anywhere else(we actually played a cremation one time...)We play with joy in our hearts and hope that you will pick up on our transmission...PEACE.
