Drumba Samba

Drumba Samba Band is a community Samba drumming band, based in Tregony, Cornwall. We play Latin American/Brazilian percussion and carnival music for any occasion including carnivals, fetes, wedding receptions, birthday parties, etc.

The band rehearses once a week on a Tuesday evening throughout the year at the Roseland Community School Music Suite in Tregony, (see the Rehearsals page for more information). Sessions are FREE and open to everyone - no experience is necessary.

Previous performances have included Plymouth Respect Festival, Truro Carnival, Truro City of Lights, Tintagel Carnival, Mevagissey Carnival, Delabole Carnival, Par Carnival, Colliford Lake (various music festivals), and many more.

The sessions run from 7.00pm to 9.00pm are are FREE!

Sessions are very informal and we are always looking for new members of all ages and abilities - no experience is necessary. You don't need to own or play an instrument as we will provide training in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and supply instruments.
