Crooked Tempo

We're a community band, first inspired by Sambaloco and using borrowed instruments formed Crooked Tempo in September 2001. We were awarded a Lottery grant from the Awards For All scheme and kitted out the whole band with shiny new instruments later that year. Since then we''ve gone from strength to strength playing at events and venues around Devon.

We practice in Ermington''s village church every Thursday 7.30pm until 9.30pm and welcome anyone who wants to come along.

We will play anywhere there is good beer and a great atmosphere, parties, functions, fairs or street performances. Our colours are turquoise and lime green. Please contact us if you want more information on workshops or gigs, or how we got our silly name!
