Batuke Samba Band

Batuke band is one of the Top Samba Band in London and it was founded in May 2009 in London from the harmony and energy of its musicians. The idea of forming a band started when Xavier Osmir singer and percussionist decided starting a new Brazilian Band. The group's main concern is to play the roots of the Brazilian music such as: Samba, pagode, partido alto, samba enredo, samba de roda, and samba reggae. The aim of Batuke samba band is to make people from different cultures enjoy dancing samba in a social way and then entertaining them with the flavour of these brilliant rhythms – long established and deeply authentic-sounding this band’s live set is sure to set the party vibe, because nobody gets a room moving like these guys.
