Bangshees

The Bangshees are an all-women drumming group based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

We aim to advance the musical education of women by providing an environment where the art of drumming can be learned, practised and developed.

We hope to encourage wide participation through public performances and workshops, offering recreational and social focus and an opportunity for personal development through involvement in arts activities.
